The Best Compliment Ever!

The testimonial to my insight and foresight that I most treasure? It’s when an organization asks me to return a second time. And when I’m invited to return a fourth time?

The fourth makes me blush. Thank you, Julian Boulding and thenetworkone (TNO) for inviting me back to London for the autumn of 2025. The reason? To provide an all-day workshop covering the skills needed to find a sustainable competitive advantage. The need is real, and universal, making it valuable to those attending from around the globe. (No organization can escape the reality of today’s marketplace volatility or the impact of AI on its business model.)

Of my past presentations, Julian has said: "When Marsha pauses to make a point, you can hear the proverbial pin drop.” (Again, I blush.)

I gave one of my how-to presentations in 2019 at the TNO’s international conference in Beijing. My topic? The importance---and ‘how-to’---of 𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑘𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 marketing within an organization. (A truly universal need.) 2020’s invitation was, of course, for a virtual presentation. My webinar was a short course on a process that Roger Martin coined “Integrative Thinking.”

The most relevant for today’s business leaders is my topic in 2018, my first TNO in London. I presented my research findings on “The Coming Crisis of Content Marketing.” Reviewing the presentation now, I’m proud to say the research findings hold up, and the advice on how to mitigate the crisis has stood the test of time. In fact, the advice may be more relevant than ever.
