Lindsay to speak Nov. 6 at World Business Forum
My third time at the World Business Forum in New York City Nov. 6! My topic? "Rethink your Competitive Strategy."
Each year, The World Business Forum brings together more than 2,500 senior executives from more than 60 countries at the event organized by World Business of Ideas (WOBI). The reason so many attend year after year? One-of-a-kind presentations by top thought leaders in business, politics, and culture. This year's conference on Nov. 5-6 in New York features presenters ranging from Scott Galloway and Adam Grant to Brené Brown and Simone Biles.
The first time I had the privilege of addressing a breakout session at the World Business Forum , produced by WOBI was in 2011. My topic? What's changed and is now critical for successfully launching and marketing a new product. The second time WOBI invited me to speak was in 2012, and my topic was "Credos and Analytics to Drive New Product Launch Success."
This year, WOBI invited me to speak under the banner of Innovation and Growth Strategies, detailing findings from my recently released multi-year study on how the forces and sources of competitive advantage have been changing. My study includes the finding that most executives don't realize the extent of that change or its pace. I'm expecting my remarks to be eye-opening and "just in time." That's because whatever a company's strategy for competitive advantage is now, to be competitive in the future, it will need a new strategy. Top leaders need to act soon, given the rapid pace of change from AI and other marketplace disruptions.
In particular, I’ll detail a playbook for future advantage, including specific strategies to fuel market penetration, increase revenue per customer, and launch a flywheel of value creation for both customers and shareholders.
To get more details, attend the World Business Forum Nov. 5-6 in NYC! Or watch for some gems here in my future posts.
