I was thrilled to be back in a city and country I revere, talking to really smart people from around the world at an all-day workshop on competitive advantage that I presented Sept. 30 for thenetworkone at the Indie Summit 2025.

I made a detailed case to attendees that, whatever their strategy now, to be competitive in the future, theyโ€™ll need a new strategy! And to effectively cast that new advantage, they must be very clear in their mind on:

โ€ขWhat competitive advantage is and isnโ€™t.

โ€ขWhy so much of what resulted advantage in the past has changed.

โ€ขWhat will create advantage in the future.

This clarity applies to you, too. Iโ€™m confident because of the multi-year study of competitive advantage Iโ€™ve just completed. It includes discussions with over 300 top executives representing companies of different sizes, categories, countries.

For more details, read my series on competitive advantage in my blog. I will post more insights from the international workshop soon.
